The Academy of Medicine Specialties of Nigeria, which was incorporated in 2019, is a non-profit organisation of the leading medical experts in Nigeria and of Nigerian extraction.
The Academy of Medical Sciences is Nigeria’s leading institution dedicated to advancing healthcare through expert knowledge and research. Originally established as the Academy of Medicine Specialties of Nigeria in June 2019, we are a proud member of the InterAcademy Partnership – a global network of medical and scientific organisations.

We support and conduct innovative research that leads to new medical breakthroughs and improved treatment methods.
Health Advocacy
We engage with policymakers, stakeholders, and the public to drive informed decision-making and improve healthcare systems. We publish public statements and advisory on important health issues.
Health Promotion
We develop programmes and initiatives to enhance public health awareness and preventive care practices.
Health Education
We provide training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for healthcare professionals and aspiring medical researchers, through seminars and workshops.
